For those who are over forty, this place is very well known. Perhaps even too well. Not the architectural features of the ancient fortress, and a unique collection of trees in the castle Park attracted the boys of the sixties and seventies of the twentieth century. The ground was literally Packed with the bones of the WWII soldiers and their weapons. Tons of TNT and hundreds of barrels then moved from Balga in the Kaliningrad apartment. Rare the kid didn’t keep in those days under the sofa “faustpatron” or “Schmeisser”, dug on the Balga. The ancient history of the castle in those years, we were interested in smaller than small arms. Meanwhile, this story is so eventful, that there are volumes of research dedicated to the castle Balga.
The Prussians called it Honed. The exact year when the Bay was constructed this fortification, now it is impossible to determine. According to legend the castle was set in the sixth century the legendary founder of the Prussian state, king Wideout. We cannot reject this version, neither confirm. Continue reading
The Baikal is one of the most mysterious and mystical lakes in the world
Baikal – mysterious and mystical lake, lots of magic and mysterious is happening on its shores and in its waters. They say the lake is alive, it responds to human actions.
In 2008, during a research expedition “Worlds” on Baikal” scientists several times plunged into the waters of the lake to a depth of more than six thousand meters. The purpose of the immersion was good to explore the bottom and to determine the deepest point.
But Baikal was against such interference in his life, and August 27, Irkutsk and others close to lake city shook. An earthquake measuring 10 points in the epicenter and 6-7 points in the settlements. Continue reading

1. Pueblos Blancos, Andalusia
White villages, onizawa hilly region in Central Andalusia, not too long ago experienced a period of decline: young people in large quantities left of these farm settlements, heading for work in major cities. But now the residents of the villages obviously have decided to attract more tourists and began restoration of the buildings and bridge.
Narrow alleys, winding between whitewashed houses, ancient churches and overgrown variegated colors of the site was returned to its medieval charm. The picturesque village is Grazalema, Vejer de La Frontera and Arcos de La Frontera. Continue reading
