The Cathedral of the twentieth century
Not one among several, and the only one designed by the architect such as built in évry (Evry), 30 km South from Paris.
Hearing about it was in the year of completion of construction, 1995. Then in June I went to the place to “see” with Evry Hiking in the cathedrals, which I then took.
Because Paris has its “Golden ring” – the cathedrals, the Gothic, separated from the capital of 80-150 km, the main features of repeating of Notre Dame. Feature its Gothic – the lack of the spires on the towers; they have the “perfect Gothic Cathedral” (the word Viole-Le-Duc) – Chartres. In Saint-Denis, however, were the spires, until one of them broke the zipper in the early 19th century.

1. Pueblos Blancos, Andalusia
White villages, onizawa hilly region in Central Andalusia, not too long ago experienced a period of decline: young people in large quantities left of these farm settlements, heading for work in major cities. But now the residents of the villages obviously have decided to attract more tourists and began restoration of the buildings and bridge.

The mysteries of the island of Malta. Who first settled on the island? Some experts say that the CRO-magnons, other – Atlanta. However, no clear trace of the latter still not found. But the island is so little studied that version of the Atlantians are not excluded. It is known that the island is often passed from hands in hands. Lived the peoples who left behind the layering of cultures, none of which are yet to be determined. The island belonged at the time of the Cretans and Cypriots, Egyptians and the ancient Sicilians. Was ruled by Greeks, Phoenicians, Romans. The winds brought the ships here many conquerors, the Byzantines, the Goths, the Arabs, the Spaniards, the Normans, the Turks.
The Greek capital of the island was the city, which is now called Mdina. If you come down from its fortress walls to the valley, where you can see the ruins of the cyclopean temples.
