1. Pueblos Blancos, Andalusia
White villages, onizawa hilly region in Central Andalusia, not too long ago experienced a period of decline: young people in large quantities left of these farm settlements, heading for work in major cities. But now the residents of the villages obviously have decided to attract more tourists and began restoration of the buildings and bridge.
Narrow alleys, winding between whitewashed houses, ancient churches and overgrown variegated colors of the site was returned to its medieval charm. The picturesque village is Grazalema, Vejer de La Frontera and Arcos de La Frontera. Continue reading
Start browsing the Gothic architecture I want with the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. This is one of my favorite pieces of architecture.
Sagrada Familia, Sagrada família (Catalan. Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família) is located North of the Old City of Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain) in the Eixample district. The construction of the temple started in 1882 and still not completed.
The project of the Cathedral was originally designed by architect Mr. Francesco del Villar (del Villar Francesco), which is a year after the start of construction was replaced by Antonio Gaudi. Gaudi completely redesigned the project, completing it in a mixture of styles of art Nouveau and modernism. The financing of the construction was done by subscription, donations from the Catholic community and state grants.

Zverinetsky cave, a place of power
Zverinetsky complex of caves has long been considered one of the most enigmatic sacred places of Kiev . It is open for visits today. Everyone has the opportunity to explore the ancient corridors Zvirynetski caves. Of course, by the length they are smaller than caves of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, but, nevertheless, are the place that for hundreds of years been hid from human eyes. Archaeologists assessing finds made here with confidence call Zverinetsky cave is the oldest cave monastery on the territory of Kievan Rus .
It is said that this cave area was inhabited from long ago. But for the first time the caves were discovered only in the XIX century . Most likely people lived here hundreds of years before. Continue reading
